I have removed both and am seriously considering uninstalling PCAV for good. I would recommend that you change your tactics and present these opt-outs even better to have opt-ins instead without the need to click an options screen which is very easily overlooked as I have done several times.

I had them occurring on one computer but not the other so was concerned. But on one computer I have something always running so the auto scan never activates, while the other computer can sometimes sit idle for an hour or two doing nothing. It takes minutes to scan the computer WAY too much down time waiting for the scan to complete. There are 2 things that you may want to address on these automatic scans, 1. The background scan activates every 30 to 40 minutes which is way too often!! You are killing my disks with all that activity!!!
I can send you the CloudAV log showing this if you need it to analyze. You NEED to include a status indication that a background scan is in progress!

There is no option, and no quarantine. Panda Securitys arrogance to the user is unbelievable delete files without asking and to leave an option away from the software. ABJ did you try the Beta2 version 0. Most programs that have an automatic background mode like this have some sort of ability to self deactivate when on battery in order to save power. Today I got a notice about 10 days left of beta. I downloaded the new version and installed it. After this I notice significant increase in disk-activity. My Cloud Antivirus detected a malware file and blocked it. Also from the advanced view of the Recycle Bin you can completely delete item by item first picture on the post above.
